Chapter 19: Christ in You - The Hope of Glory Now we step into one of the most profound realities of the New Creation. Not just what Christ has done for you… But who He is now within The Gospel is not only about forgiveness. It is not only about restoration. It is about indwelling. “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27) This is the mystery revealed. Not Christ beside you. Not Christ helping you from a distance. Christ in you. •The Indwelling Reality From the moment of the New Birth, something radical takes place: God does not just relate to you. He dwells within you. This changes everything. You are no longer: •trying to reach God •trying to access Him externally You now live from: •union •indwelling •internal communion •The Hope of Glory “Hope” here is not wishful thinking, it is confident expectation. “Glory” is the manifested nature and presence of God. So this means: Christ in you is the certainty that God’s nature will be revealed through your life. Not someday. But progressively, now. •From Anointing to Glory Many understand the anointing, but few step into glory. * Anointing - God upon you for function * Glory - God revealed through you in nature The anointing empowers what you do. Glory reveals who He is. And glory flows from Christ within fully expressed. •The Hidden Life “Christ, who is our life…” (Colossians 3:4) Christ is not an addition to your life. He is your life. This means: •your strength is His •your identity is rooted in Him •your source is internal, not external The more this is realised, the less you live from: •self-effort •external validation •circumstantial stability •Union, Not Separation The believer must move beyond the mindset of separation. You are not: •distant from God •trying to get closer •striving to connect You are: •joined •united •one with Him in Spirit This is the foundation of the New Creation life. •Manifestation of Christ “That the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body…” (2 Corinthians 4:10) The goal is not just internal awareness, it is external manifestation. Christ in you must become: •visible in your character •evident in your responses •expressed through your life This is glory revealed. •Removing Internal Barriers Christ is present, but not always expressed. Why? Because of: •unrenewed thinking •fear •insecurity •self-reliance These do not remove His presence. But they limit His expression. As these are removed, Christ becomes more visible through you. •Living From Within Most live from the outside in: •reacting to circumstances •being shaped by environment But the New Creation lives from the inside out: •led by the Spirit •anchored in truth •expressing Christ regardless of circumstance •Intimacy and Awareness Christ in you is not just a doctrine, it is a reality to be experienced. This requires: •awareness •communion •intentional focus The more aware you are of Him within: •the more you rely on Him •the more you respond from Him •the more He is expressed through you •Glory Through Transformation Glory is not instant display, it is progressive revelation. As you: •behold Christ •renew your mind •walk in the Spirit •yield to love His nature becomes increasingly visible. •The Key: Awareness and Expression Christ is already in you. The question is not: “Is He there?” The question is: “Is He being expressed?” •Living This Daily Practically: •acknowledge His presence within •respond from His nature •reject self-reliance •remain aware of union This shifts everything from effort, to expression. •Activation: Live From Christ Within Today, shift your awareness: Stop looking outward for what is already within. Begin to: •think from Him •speak from Him •act from Him Let this become your reality: Christ in me, expressed through me. •Prayer Father, Thank You for the reality of Christ within me. Open my understanding to this truth, That I would not live as though You are distant. Increase my awareness of Your presence within, And teach me to live from union, not striving. Remove every barrier that limits Your expression through my life. Let Christ be seen in me, In my thoughts, In my words, In my actions. May Your glory be revealed through me. In Jesus’ Name. Chapter 20: Glory Revealed - Living as the Expression of God This is where the New Creation life reaches its full expression, not just transformed, but radiating the nature and presence of God outwardly.
